The hotel itself isn’t that great, even though it’s close to the market.
It’s an average hotel in the market near Karol Bagh metro station, and I had to try three rooms before finding one that was a little better. I read comments about smells, poor sanitation, and rude staff, and was surprised the hotel staff replied to those comments in the same rude way. That’s concerning. The first room smelled foul and had a broken floor. In the second, the TV on the table was broken, the room stank, there were cracks, and the bedsheets looked as though they hadn’t been washed in years. The third room was better than the other two, but had no hot water or shower head. The pictures I’m sharing are from that third room, the one that looked a little more appealing. The other two were pathetic. When I asked to change rooms because they weren’t up to the mark, I couldn’t appreciate the management’s behavior. The actual rooms also didn’t look like the pictures. I wonder how management can be so rude. I wouldn’t be surprised if they comment “don't come” on my review. Please take the necessary steps to improve the rooms instead of being rude.
The room was grimy, with sticky floors and doors that were broken and tacky to the touch. The beds and sheets smelled bad and weren’t clean, and the rooms felt cramped. They also wanted an extra 4% for card 💳 payment. I’ve traveled all over the country and haven’t had a hotel experience this bad, even small towns have good places to stay. At the same price, you can find better hotels in Karolbagh. Don’t trust this hotel’s good OYO rating. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The hotel was in awful shape. The bed shook, and one chair looked like it could break as soon as I sat down. The AC seemed about 10 years old and barely cooled the room. In the hot summer, staff had turned on the geyser, making the taps burn hot, and they had no answer when I asked why. The towels were very cheap and looked as if they’d never been changed. The door felt so weak I thought a hard push would break it, and the lock was poor too. A man took my phone to check the details and gave the hotel a five-star rating without my knowing. Pathetic hotel.
The pictures OYO posted don’t match what you find here at all. The rooms smelled, the bedsheet and quilt were stained, and the toilet wasn’t clean. The guy at reception greeted me wearing a vest, and there were plenty of other issues too. OYO charges around 2k a night, while you can book this property directly for about 1200. It’s a third-class place. Please don’t be fooled by the photos.
