Kings Forth Hotels

This is a new property with nice, clean rooms, but the buffet dinner and breakfast were pathetic. There were only two or three dishes, no starters, and hardly any variety. They wouldn't even serve an omelette at breakfast. When I asked for one, they refused. They call it a four-star hotel, but the facilities don't even meet three-star standards. Good rooms, terrible buffet meals.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was good, though mine had a leak that wasn't fixed during my three-day stay. Service was top class. It's a nice hotel in a poor locality, and the discounted rate for that area makes it a good deal.

The dining area was a mess, and guests at the next table had the same problems we did. We had dinner included, but the waiter only gave us two or three choices verbally, like at a dhaba. The food arrived so late that we weren't hungry anymore, so we asked to have it sent to our room. The waiter rudely refused. The food quality was ridiculous, and the staff were rude and uncooperative. For a place calling itself a high-standard, four-star hotel, some courtesy should be basic. That rating is absurd. The most pathetic experience, and I would never recommend this property.

The staff were friendly and gave useful advice about getting around the city, the hotel, and affordable ways to extend a stay. Room service was prompt, and they respected our privacy, which matters at a couple-friendly hotel. You can have meals in your room or at the restaurant, whose ambience is classy. The menu there is limited, but most dishes were made well. I recommend the Fish n Chips and Dry Chilli Chicken, but not the Sweet Corn Soup. Breakfast is expensive if it isn't included. Rooms are spacious, with good furniture, beds, and bathrooms. The TV channel selection is decent but could be better. The location is about 5 kms from Chattarpur Metro station and not too far from Ghitorni, though it's less convenient than you'd want for metro access.
