Delhi Airport Snooze - Sleeping Pods Hotel

Be careful booking online. I paid what I thought was the price for a five-star hotel near the airport, but the booking put me in one of the nearby hotels instead. Those rooms go for very little, and the hotel didn't even have basic facilities.

The air was acrid both in the city and inside the hotel, and the AC smelled so bad I had to cover my face with a pillow. It did cool the room, but there were wires hanging from the ceiling, and I had to flip a fuse to get hot water from the heater. The drive from the airport took over 30 minutes through an area that felt very sketchy, ending at a strip of hotels rented by the hour. At midnight, I waited almost an hour for the driver to pick me up for my three-hour stay. He couldn't find me, even though he'd asked me to send a selfie showing where I was at the airport. I felt unsafe and worried about my health. I'll never stay there again, and I strongly recommend against it. Next time I'll stay at En Calm AT THE AIRPORT.

This hotel is outside the airport, not on the terminal, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone flying overseas from Delhi. The room cost far too much for what it offered, and it was nowhere near as good as the photos they sent me made it look. There weren't even basic things like towels. Breakfast had also been promised in writing over text, but none was offered.

Don't pay online. These aren't drop pods in T3. They send you to a different hotel. This is a big scam.
