OYO Flagship 76609 Shiv Hotel Sector 33 Begampur

I cancelled my booking straight away after seeing the rooms and dealing with the staff. The rooms were among the worst I've seen, and Krishna Sharma was rude when I asked to switch rooms. He had pressured me to cancel my original booking and make it a walk-in booking. When I requested a refund, he refused, even though I had paid him through Paytm. I don't understand how this place got flagship status. OYO should be ashamed to work with this property and people like this. I wouldn't recommend booking it.

The bathroom was filthy, like a dirty public toilet, and the room smelled like a drain. The TV didn't work and the door lock was faulty. Service and staff were poor as well. This was a terrible stay at hotel shiv hotel, Begumpur, and I wouldn't go back or recommend it. During a pandemic, cleanliness and hygiene should be a priority, yet the rooms and service were awful. OYO should correct its policies and cancel the licence and franchise if they are breaking the rules.

The food was decent, though don't expect much in the way of taste, and there were only a few free TV channels. What made me uncomfortable was the staff's unprofessional behavior. Six or seven guys were sitting around the reception and staring at you. It would feel awkward if you're travelling with a female partner or family.

The area felt shady, but the hotel and its staff were worse. I left before my stay was over because I felt unsafe, and I haven't felt that unsafe even on Delhi roads. The staff were smoking and drinking around the place and literally abusing people. There were ants everywhere, stained sheets, and a stink in the rooms, with no service at all. OYO should check properties itself before verifying them. This place was the worst by every standard. Don't even consider booking it.
