OYO Flagship 76704 The Mayur Hotel

Nothing about the stay was good. They wouldn't accept online payment and charged extra to give us a room. The place was unhygienic, with a bathroom as dirty as a roadside washroom and a dirty bed pillow. Staff had no manners when speaking to customers. Even the TV remote was missing its battery.

They wouldn't let us check in despite our online booking, saying they don't accept online reservations even though the hotel appeared on several websites. It felt like they advertise very low prices, then reject the booking once you arrive, leaving you to take a more expensive room because you're already there. The online site may refund you later, but that doesn't make the experience okay. If they refuse your booking, I'd leave and find another hotel. Don't encourage this.

This happened to me twice. OYO advertises discounted rooms at low prices, but when you reach the hotel, they refuse to honor that price. At The Mayur hotel, the rooms were very dirty and poorly maintained despite the high rates. After this awful experience, I think walking in directly, even with a delay, is better than booking through OYO. I wouldn't book through OYO again.

The receptionist cancelled my booking from the app, then demanded more than the price I'd booked the room for. He was rude, and I had a bad experience dealing with him. The bathroom window was broken; when I complained, they said people in the other rooms couldn't see me. Please avoid this hotel. Things can go from bad to worse here.
