Metro Tower Hotel

We stayed there on 12th October 2024, and I deeply regret choosing it. The room was filthy and unhygienic, with mold covering the bathroom ceilings and room walls. The bed was infested with bugs, and the sheets and pillowcases had filthy stains. My daughter became sick during our stay. The worst hotel I’ve ever seen.

I booked through brevistay for 3 hours and only needed somewhere to sit, so I asked the staff to clean the room and tried to put up with it. The floor was dirtier than the bottom of our shoes, and there were ants on the damp bed and damp walls. When the staff member took off a pillowcase while cleaning, I saw the moldiest, dirtiest pillow of my life. I left right away. The nastiest hotel I’ve ever seen.

We booked through Agoda for a night, though we only needed a few hours because of a flight from Delhi Airport. The hotel was extremely difficult to find, and even Google Maps seemed not to want us to get there. We finally arrived around 7 am. The hotel had confirmed an early check-in the day before, but two men at reception said there were no rooms and we’d have to wait until noon. They wouldn’t help when we explained we were leaving that same day. Fifteen minutes later, they offered a room for an extra 600, cash only. It was on the third floor, with no elevator, and nobody helped with our luggage. The toilet was yellow and stank, as if it hadn’t been washed in years. When I asked them to clean it, they said it was clean enough, then only half-cleaned it after I got stern. We put up with the room expecting a decent one at noon, but they kept saying there were no rooms. There were bed bugs, leaking walls, and stinky toilets. When we eventually left, we saw that most of the rooms were empty. This horrible place made the stay torturous and could spoil your whole trip. Anyone who thinks living like this is worth it must be staff or leaving good or average reviews for some other reason.

The bathroom was so dirty I didn’t use it during my stay, and the trash can was full of unhygienic things. They hadn’t cleaned it before giving us the room. The beds, blankets, and pillows were dirty too, and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. The water bottle they gave us had been refilled with tap water. I’d booked a room for 12 hours through an hourly rental website because of a connecting flight layover. I couldn’t go to another hotel since I’d already paid online and it was 4AM. This was one of my nightmares come true. All the reviews here with 4+ stars are fake. Still, thanks to this hotel for improving my immunity a bit. 😂
