OYO 12171 Hotel Sky View

The outlets were a real problem: there weren’t enough, and half of the ones there didn’t work, making it hard to charge devices. The hotel phones were out too, so I had to go down to reception to report the issues. The washroom clogged as soon as someone showered, leaving it unusable. I told reception, but nothing was done. OYO 12171 Hotel Sky View wasn’t maintained to even a basic standard, and the whole stay was extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food quality was terrible, and the buffet area was dirty. The dinner plates and spoons weren’t clean, and neither were the coffee cups, one of which was broken. The buffet was right beside a dustbin, with tissues being thrown there, and nobody cleaned up the area. What kind of hotel puts a dustbin next to the buffet?

The hotel uses several names, including “Hotel Arch view” and “Hotel Sky Wood at Delhi Airport.” If you have luggage, keep in mind the road to the frontage is narrow and vehicles can’t get all the way there, so you’ll have to walk some distance. Breakfast was hopeless. I saw a cockroach under the bread, and flies all over the kitchen and room. The staff were arrogant and unhelpful. I do NOT recommend this hotel, since there are much better options in the area.

A third-class hotel with fake photos and reviews, as far as I could tell. The reviews impressed me, but by the time I arrived late at night and saw the sticky floor and a cockroach on the bed, I couldn’t do much about it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
