The photos on the listing were fraudulent, and the hotel was down a dark alley with an incorrect Google Maps listing. There were aggressive dogs and people in the area. I’d prepaid on Airbnb, but the front staff said they’d never heard of it and seemed just as confused when I showed them the listing in the app. They recognized the “host” name and photo as the owner, then sent us to a different hotel despite the booking being paid in full. The second place, “Le Cashew,” had cockroaches, no working AC, and smelled like dead animals. Scam hotel. Run away. Do not go here.

The hotel charged Rs.10 for a plastic spoon and Rs. 30 for water that was supposed to be mineral water, though it wasn’t bisleri. My room was in awful condition, with very dirty sheets and blanket. They changed the sheets when I asked, but the bathroom taps had no heads to turn them on, and they wouldn’t give me another room. Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t bother much.

The place is tucked into a gali in Paharganj, and the name on it is “PG Continental,” not what I expected from the Oyo listing. We were four people across two rooms, but each room got just one set of towels, and room service was basically nonexistent. Easily my worst hotel stay. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was clean enough and the staff were fine, no real issues there. I paid 850/- for an AC room, but the AC wasn’t working when I checked in because of a power cut. Rooms seemed to be available, so booking in person might be easier and cheaper than reserving online.

The bedroom itself was decent, but the rest of the stay left me unhappy. The area felt dirty and scary for a family, and there were mosquito larvae in the bathroom tap water. The surroundings felt unhygienic too. Even though I’d paid the full amount through Oyo beforehand, the receptionist asked me for more money.
