OYO 9046 Hotel Metro Star

We paid ₹1400 and had to leave after just 30 minutes. Every room we saw was dirty and smelled bad, including the bedsheets and toilets. The owner refused to refund any of the money. Don't be fooled by the nice photos on Google and OYO. I've found many OYO places for ₹500-₹700 that are better. Even a free stay wouldn't tempt me, and I wouldn't go here with family or as a couple. The hotel is tucked away in the interior, with construction going on around it. A complete scam, zero stars.

The room itself was filthy: dirty walls and floor, cockroaches on the bed, and unwashed towels and sheets. The phone line didn't work either, despite this supposedly being a 3-star hotel. I booked through OYO and had discussed the early check-in charge by phone because flight problems meant we would arrive around midnight. The call should be recorded. But at the hotel, Mr. Samuel at reception denied that early check-in had been agreed and asked for a different, higher amount. My friends and I were checking in in the middle of the night, just as I'd explained on the call. OYO customer care ignored the fact that the hotel staff were giving us different information and kept repeating the early check-in price. I ended up paying the same as a full day's stay, which made an already bad situation worse. I don't mind paying for early check-in, or being told it's unavailable. Giving wrong information and then trying to take advantage of us is what felt like a scam. #shameonyouoyo.

I've attended several events here, including weddings, a bodybuilding competition, an iftar party, and an aqiqa ceremony. I also booked the first-floor hall for my sister's wedding; it holds 100 people. The hotel can be booked through Oyo and other hotel booking sites, and it offers halls for weddings, engagements, exhibitions, and similar events. It's suitable for a small gathering, but I wouldn't book it for a large one, especially a baraat where the number of guests can be unpredictable.

The lift wasn't working, the rooms were very dusty, and food took ages to arrive after we ordered. The service, rooms, and food were all among the worst I've experienced. I had a really bad time here and wouldn't recommend it.
