I canceled my booking, even though there was no refund, because the place felt more suited to unmarried couples. I wouldn’t recommend it for families or office employees. The rooms were extremely dirty, poorly lit, and had no ventilation. To me, the area felt like a slum.

I paid online for two nights, but when I arrived at 1am they wanted more money. When I asked for a refund, they abused me. I tried calling OYO customer care 7 to 8 times, but they kept passing me back to the booking staff instead of the service team. No refund, no customer support, and I didn’t feel it was safe for men or women. This place is a scam.

I checked in at 1am and left at 2am. I couldn’t use the toilet or basin, take a shower properly, or rest on the stained bed. The toilet was filthy, had paan stains everywhere, and smelled awful. The hand pump didn’t work, the basin tap was broken, and the shower barely ran. I’d booked through OYO for 350rs, but was told all the rooms were sold out and had to pay an extra 500 for a deluxe room. Pathetic.

The staff were cooperative, though they don’t always meet their deadlines, and there weren’t enough of them. The billing process has been the worst part of my experience so far, but they could improve it. They’re trying modern ways to handle traditional problems, which is good, though guest needs and understanding should come first. There was no Geiger, just an iron rod for heating water, and no bucket to collect it. Bring a balti next time.
