OYO Flagship 592 Hauz Khas Village

For 1600 bucks, it's the best one in such a locality. The receptionist was helpful and accommodating. He let us sleep on the couch until the rooms were ready and leave our bags after checkout. He didn't make an issue of us having a guest over late at night either. The bathroom needs redecorating, though. Water collects there, and the windows are very dirty and need cleaning. Still, I'm very thankful overall.

It's not a big hotel, so it feels special, with less crowd and rush. The location is prime, there's a beautiful view, the metro station is nearby, and the nearby market has the things you need. The staff are very cooperative, and you can have a good time here. Five stars for the stay, service, and everything else.

I left the property at midnight after finding bed bugs in room 203. They offered another room, but once those insects arrive, they spread everywhere, and I couldn't trust the linen. For me, bed bugs in a hotel are a serious hygiene disgrace and a complete turn-off. Maybe that's because of my past experience or phobia, but this made me hate the property. The staff were helpful and humble. Still, there are some big practical gaps: they don't serve lunch or dinner because there's no kitchen, there's no refrigerator, and there's no lift. If you have back problems, I'd avoid it, though staff might help carry luggage.

The facilities were poor, and the images in the app didn't match the real place. Breakfast choices were extremely limited. We ordered a bread omelette and got just one piece of bread. The hotel charged a lot for what it offered. No problem with the staff, but overall it was a bad stay.
