The OYO app showed ₹699, but they made me pay ₹1,298, saying there was an extra charge for a solo traveler at midnight. Since it was 12:30 at night and I didn’t want to search for another hotel, I had no choice but to pay cash. The room was filthy: black, dirty linens and pillows, hair everywhere, stains on the sheets and mattress, and an unclean bathroom and sink. The towel holder was broken, switches were damaged, furniture was falling apart, and the AC sounded like a generator. The whole place was pathetic and unhygienic. Maybe it’s okay for low-class couples looking to spend 2-3 hours for ₹300-₹400, but even then it’s a disgrace. The people running it are cheaters and looters, completely unprofessional and clueless about hospitality.

The OYO app showed 850 when I booked, but they asked for 1,400 once I got to the hotel. The room and bathroom weren’t clean. The worst experience ever.

I called before arriving to ask about some changes and got no response. The rooms weren’t cleaned before check-in, and the front desk staff seemed underqualified.

The price and the stay didn’t come close to matching: I paid around Rs 1,500 for services worth no more than Rs 300. The app had shown about Rs 1,100, which I paid before checking in, but hotel staff asked me for another Rs 500 at check-in, and I paid it. The room and bathroom were very unhygienic, with a used bedsheet on the bed, dusty curtains, poor cushions and bedding, and an AC that didn’t work properly. The amenities were substandard and the stay was extremely uncomfortable, one of my worst Oyo experiences. I urge OYO management to look urgently at the franchise partners they take on, since partners like this are damaging service quality and customer trust.
