We checked in around 3 a.m. The reception is on the second floor of a shopping complex, but a guard was there to point us to the lift. The night manager greeted us warmly and showed us to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable, though appliances like the AC were a bit dusty. At night the lobby felt a little shady, but by morning it was lively. We had a nice chat with the hosts about places to visit and eat, and they were helpful. They suggested trying "cafe mysore" if "hotel vinayak mylari" had a long wait, which turned out to be the case. There was also a cloakroom where we left our luggage after checking out early. A great location to use as a base for exploring the city.

The rooms were neat and clean, and the location is in a prime area with easy access to different places. Everything else was good, but the front desk staff treated customers extremely badly and seemed to have no idea how to deal with them. Their attitude ruined a whole day of our stay. The owner came in person to apologize, which was a good sign, but the damage had already been done. For the sake of your peace of mind and holiday, I'd avoid staying here.

The rooms are spacious and good value, and the hotel is close to Mysore's main sights. It was a bit dated, and the walls could use fresh paint, but at that price I'd definitely stay again.

It took us a while to find the hotel, but the stay was worth it. The rooms were really comfortable and had a luxurious feel, and the staff behaved very well.

I booked a non-AC room for my family, but it felt more suitable for bachelors. The room has very large windows made only of clear glass, and the curtains didn't fit properly. The fan made them move to one side. The lift also didn't work properly. Each time, we had to tell reception, since only they had control of it. The reception phone was never answered when we called, so we had to go there in person. The good things were the parking, although we had to check and go there ourselves, the hot water, and the room quality. Please take these points as suggestions for improvement, not a complaint.
