OYO 18487 V Wella Inn

The bathroom became unusable when the sewerage pipes overflowed. Before that, the room was unclean, the sheets weren’t clean, and there were no dustbins. The room itself was a decent size, but the cupboard was made of bare plywood inside, without even a coat of paint. The hotel is far out on the city’s edge and nearly impossible to reach without a cab. Management needs to address these problems for guests to have a comfortable stay. One of the worst OYO hotels I’ve stayed in.

The staff were really nice and the room looked clean, but a lot was missing or not working. The building was still under construction, and some windows had no glass. There was no working hot water or TV, the water ran slowly, and the bed was very hard with no cushioning. There was an A/C, but no remote controller.

The only good things were the A/C and mattress, both in good condition. The hotel was newly opened but still under construction, with unfinished room interiors and no ventilation since all the windows were covered with closed glass. The bathroom was in awful shape, dirty and smelly, with a bad drainage system. When using the wash basin, water had no proper outlet and ran onto your feet. The wardrobe was in terrible condition, and the room caretaker didn’t respond when we asked for help. There’s no car parking. The receptionist, GAUTAM, behaved badly, and when we went to rate the hotel, he took my phone by force and rated it himself with 5 stars and good comments. A total waste of money. I’d never recommend anyone book it.

The bedspreads were stained, and the rooms are tiny and poorly maintained. There’s no hot water, and if spiders scare you, don’t go into the rooms. We booked through OYO and were met by a few very immature boys. The way they dealt with us was completely unprofessional. Not a place I’d choose for a family.
