Silver Ferns

Getting stuck in the old, poorly maintained lift for nearly 30 minutes was the worst part of an already awful stay at Hotel Silver Fern, Saket. From start to finish, the experience was pathetic. They wouldn't let me park nearby, even though there was space. The first room had no power, and the washroom was unusable, with leaking taps spraying water everywhere. I had to keep asking for a room change; the replacement room had a shower that didn't work, and they ignored that complaint. The towels smelled, and the bathrooms stank. No staff helped with my heavy bags at check-in or checkout. The roads leading to the property are congested and suffocating, barely a narrow one-way lane. A hotel in a capital city should be run responsibly. I'm posting this to warn people not to choose it, even if there seems to be no other option nearby. A complete waste of money and time, and I'm utterly disappointed.

SilverFern helped my cousin get a study visa for Canada and secure admission to the University of Alberta, one of Canada's most prestigious universities. The staff are humble, helpful, and always respectful. I'd recommend considering SilverFern if you're hoping to study abroad.

The location was terrible, and guests are told to leave their cars in MCD parking. In the room, the toilet was stained, the shower broken, and there was no hot water. The sheets and towels were low quality. The hotel also had cement stains throughout from construction around the property, and the staff hadn't cleaned them properly. On my first day I saw cockroaches in the room, and the wall was crumbling with white cement. Breakfast wasn't served before 8.30, so I couldn't use the hotel's breakfast menu. The whole place felt like a typical Oyo hotel. I wouldn't recommend it, and guests should go at their own risk.

The hotel is pricey for the quality, and the rooms are average, dimly lit, and only so-so for cleanliness. But the surrounding area has a great feel, with the market nearby and activity going late into the night, or really, early morning. A good location if the neighbourhood and atmosphere matter most.
