We managed a somewhat comfortable two-day family stay in Raipur, largely because the staff were polite and helpful. We appreciated that the manager arranged a sofa on our floor for our driver. The rooms were decent in size, but some had wall cracks, permanent dirt on the floors, and stained blankets. Hygiene and cleanliness need major improvement. Parking was a serious inconvenience. There is no dedicated hotel parking, so we had to leave our car on the roadside, where passing vehicles could scratch or damage it. That's concerning when you're traveling with family. The biggest letdown was the food. It was overpriced and poor quality. The helpful staff made the stay manageable, but the hotel really needs to improve cleanliness and food.

The staff were kind and supportive throughout, from the front desk to housekeeping, and everyone was polite, helpful, and attentive. They also welcomed foreign travelers and handled the necessary documentation smoothly. The location is very central, with Raipur Railway Station just a short walk away, which made getting around and connecting to transport easy. The restaurant food was tasty, too. With the convenient location and good service, Hotel Jagdish made for a comfortable visit. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city, including international travelers.

Rates are reasonable: 1450 for an AC double room and 1150 for a single AC room. The Non AC room has kitchen service, and their poha and panneer paratha are worth trying. There's a lift, and it's listed on MMT, Booking dot com, and ibibo, with flexible checkout. It's walkable from the Railway station. From gate 2 near Gurudwara, take the side road and walk about 80-100 meter, around 5 min.

I stayed a few days ago. It's one of the better options near raipur railway station in the 1000-1200rs price range. The room was average for space but had a clean washroom, and lifts are available. The food was average and a little too expensive, so I wouldn't recommend it. Better to look outside. A friend visited recently and was denied check-in because they don't accept local id.

The rooms are good for the price. Parking could be an issue if you have a car, but otherwise it's good.
