The bathroom door and the so-called duvet were mouldy, and the room itself was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There were holes in the sheets and in the bathroom ceiling. The open urinal at the street corner makes the area just outside the hotel stink. I’ve never seen or stayed in a more disgusting room. The good reviews here and on booking.com are apparently from a young worker called “Alam” or something like that. Vile place. I’d give it -10 stars or more if I could.

We booked through Goibibo and were told at check-in to look for a room at another hotel, even though our booking was confirmed. The room we got had a filthy street view and a broken window, while Goibibo had confirmed a city view and the online pictures showed something totally different. The chair was torn, the bed and sheets were dirty, and there was no hot water. The TV seemed to be there for show, with its plug wire exposed. The narrow access lane was grimy, with an open urinal at its entrance. When I argued with the unhelpful receptionist, they said I could do whatever I wanted and spoke with no manners. One worker smelled drunk, threatened to claim money from the company, and told me to get out. Zero stars for this worst hotel. Avoid it at any cost.

The service was very good, and all the staff were helpful. The stay was comfortable, with New Delhi railway stations and metro stations nearby.

Only the reception looked good. The rooms were dirty, and they didn’t provide fresh towels, sheets, or pillow covers. There was no soap or water, and the staff behaved badly. The rest of the place was horrible, with no basic courtesy or essentials.
