The location is convenient and easy to reach, with New delhi station only 600mtrs away, but we were really disappointed. We booked after seeing the photos and reviews and thought the price, over 1k for day and night, meant it would be good. The room was so cramped we could barely walk around, and felt like we were locked in without permission to leave. The washroom was tiny too, with no room for a bucket or tub. You have to call the desk to get the gyser switched on. Then there’s no temperature control in the shower, or you can sit under the outlet and get mild or extremely hot water. You can't be sure it won't burn your hair cells or skin. They should at least provide a bucket so you can mix hot and cold water to get the temperature you want. I bathed in the chilling january month and felt like I almost burned my scalp and body skin. Ridiculous, they don't care what customers need. We only stayed one day and won't book again. Drinking water costs extra, and food from nearby restaurants like jmvs comes with an added service charge. I wouldn’t recommend booking here when there are plenty of much better properties around.

Smyle inn hotel in Paharganj worked well for us. They arranged an airport pick-up at 3am, and the rooftop terrace is a nice escape from the busy area. It’s clean, and they give good advice. The shower area smelled a bit, though I can’t compare it with other hotels nearby.

For a one-night Delhi stop before heading to Dharamshala, Smyle Inn made things feel much easier. The team helped with a delivered meal, a walking tour of the city, errands, and getting me to the right bus at the right place on time. I felt safe and looked after. Breakfast was filling and tasty, and dinner was soo good. Big props to Merouan, though I probably have destroyed his name! I was in the female 4 dorms, where the bed was comfortable and I felt secure. The working/lounge area and rooftop were great amenities. They let me check out late and stay in the building until my overnight bus. Delhi can feel overwhelming and like another level of crazynest, but the Smyle Inn team made sure I had a nice time and now I feel much more confident about India. Don't look further for your next New Delhi stay.

Amit was especially warm and polite, and made our visit memorable. The whole team made us feel welcome and cared for, going above and beyond. Service, comfort and the overall vibe were flawless from start to finish. A wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hotel.

Mr. Manish has been kind and polite, and the owner was genuine and kind when I met him. I noticed the owner personally looks after the property, its facilities and everything. Rooms are clean, service is best and staff are cooperative, so I truly recommend it to Indians and foreigners alike. The location is a little shady, but with this budget and the city center location, there isn't much choice.
