Staybook Atlanta New Delhi Train Station

Instead of getting some rest before the next part of our journey, we spent valuable time waiting in an uncomfortable lobby. We were told repeatedly that every room was occupied, and no one tried to find a workable compromise. The room information online didn’t match what we found when we arrived, which led to confusion and frustration. Communication and customer service were serious problems throughout, and the experience left us with a very negative impression that overshadowed our travel plans. If guest satisfaction matters to you, check every detail before booking.

We had paid two days in advance, so we ended up putting up with the room we were given. It didn’t match the website photos, and when we complained, they wouldn’t move us. The rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the toilets were small and filthy. Blocked sewage pipes made an already horrifying stay even worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The team was cooperative and attentive, and the fast Wi-Fi and room service made things convenient. The rooms were clean and well maintained, a relaxing place to come back to after a busy day. The location is handy too, just a short walk from New Delhi Railway Station. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atlanta (Staybook) in Paharganj. The hospitality was excellent from check-in onward. Special thanks to manager Murshid and Manger Alam, who were professional, helpful, and went out of their way to make things comfortable and hassle-free. If you need a friendly and reliable place in Delhi, I highly recommend Hotel Atlanta. Look out for Murshid and Manger Alam, they’ll take great care of you!

Some parts of the hotel were good: the owner was very friendly, and a few staff members were amazing. Some rooms were great, but others had no WiFi or window access, or had windows that wouldn’t close. The older staff were excellent, professional, respectful, and always ready to help. One gentleman, whose name I can’t remember, told me he had a young daughter and son. He was dedicated, approachable, consistently polite, and never asked for tips. My experiences with some of the younger staff were very different. One cleaner swept my floor for barely a minute and then seemed unhappy with the 100 rupees I gave him, asking me for more. Aman seemed kind at first, but then made me uncomfortable with comments about finding a girlfriend and saying age didn’t matter. He even suggested taking my two-year-old daughter for a walk at 11pm. That was completely unacceptable, so I left the next morning to avoid more interaction. These incidents made the stay feel uncomfortable and, in the end, unsafe. The hotel needs a deep clean, and the person in charge of cleaning should be replaced straight away. It’s hard to believe how the rooms and bathrooms were left: the rooms were dirty, there was mould on every bathroom ceiling, most windows wouldn’t close, and some pillows were absolutely disgusting.
