This was easily the worst treatment I've had at a property. I asked for a late checkout and was quoted a full day's payment for four extra hours, so I declined and asked for just one hour. The owner agreed, but the next morning a bearded man with a rude, rough manner told me I couldn't stay until 12. I changed my plans because of how he spoke to us. He then agreed that I could wait in the lobby for two hours until my friend got off work and could pick me up. After I checked out and paid, he suddenly said I had to leave and couldn't sit there. When I reminded him of what he'd said that morning, he denied it. I asked to call my friend, but he literally pushed me off the property. I had no SIM card or data, so I couldn't contact her if I left the homestay. I explained the situation, but he still wouldn't let me stay. They also don't accept international credit cards. The rooms are tiny, and we could hear the other rooms, just as they could hear us. The shared balcony is a serious privacy concern: anyone could come in, see the bed, or even unlock the door. Terrible, especially for couples.

The shared balcony was magnificent, and the property is in a decent residential area, which is a plus if you want privacy. The place was hygienic, which can be hard to find in OYOs, and the manager was easy to talk to. Check-in was hassle-free, and we were in our room within five minutes. The rooms were good, though not luxurious. It might be short on space if you're bringing a group. Otherwise, everything was awesome, and it seems best suited to couples.

It feels like home, though it's a bit expensive. The staff are really helpful, breakfast is included, and there's a nearby market for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The washrooms have towels, and there are an in-house kitchen with utensils for making Chai, a lift, Wi-Fi, and a Samsung smart TV. A few drawbacks: parking is an issue, so you'll need to park outside. Rooms are only on the third floor, the Wi-Fi signal isn't very good, and the lighting could be better for sleeping. The room is small if you feel claustrophobic, and the two rooms share a balcony, which raises privacy concerns. Visit date: 15th February, 2024.

The owner and the staff lady were sweet and helpful, and I was very satisfied with the room and service. It was on the third floor, but there's a lift. The toilet was hygienic, clean towels and handwash were provided, and the AC worked fine. There was a Samsung smart TV, with Netflix and Amazon Prime provided by the owner, plus a nice balcony to hang out on. It's couple friendly. The building is called "Rana's" and has three rooms in total. Highly recommend.
