Spot On 45094 Hotel Madhu Complex

The staff behaved terribly and blamed us for damage to the washbasin, even though it was rusted through. They don't look after their own facilities or belongings, and seem to blame other people instead. Please check everything carefully if you come here. Better yet, avoid this awful hotel.

The facilities were very poor, and the staff spoke rudely to us and blamed us. Please don't stay at this awful hotel.

The only part that went well was when I complained to goibibo: hotel staff came right away to ask what they could do. The rest of the stay was hell, and all the other hotels were booked so we couldn't move. We were a family of four with one child. Each room got just one towel, and it looked as if it had been washed in a drain. The linens were stained with dirty marks, some looked like semen or urine. Dirt came in through the bathroom window, and people in the neighboring building could look in. The rooms were small and felt like a brothel, with curtains hung outside them. There was a filthy restaurant at the entrance. The restaurant staff didn't seem to know what they were cooking, flour was thrown around, and the cooking area was unhygienic. When I asked for tea, they just stared at one another as if I'd asked them to clean. We ate somewhere else. Don't book here if you're traveling with senior citizens. There's no lift, and the staircase had window AC units fitted in it, so it was wet. The AC and geyser couldn't be used at the same time.

I was shocked by this place. Even hotels in remote areas like Tarapith and Atla offer better service, cleanliness, and food than this hotel at this price. Next time in Deoghar, I'll have to be much more careful about finding somewhere reasonably priced. This is more of a third-class lodge than a hotel.
