Hotel Utsav

The hotel staff were good enough, but the OYO operator kept changing the payment conditions, then threatened to cancel my booking unless I paid in full. There was no parking during the day, and with no lift, getting to the second floor is too hard for regular guests. Breakfast was included in the offer, but in the morning there was no breakfast or tea. This is only for a night, and not for older people. No daytime parking.

The stay was pleasant, and check-in and check-out both went smoothly. The room service was quick, the food tasted good, and the facilities were kept up well. Good value for money.

The washrooms were dirty, and every ceiling had big holes that felt risky and unsafe. Hot water wasn't working either, so our 2-year-old had to bathe in cold water. The hotel lights also went out for an hour, even though the rest of the building still had power. We'd booked one night, and only at check-in were we told that none of the rooms had working air conditioning. When we asked why, they gave a stupid answer that it wasn't working in any room. We asked for compensation and were told to take it up with the online booking service. We also requested an extra bed. They first agreed, but didn't come for two hours. After we asked again, they brought a mattress. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

The location was convenient and peaceful, close to major attractions and transport. The food was another highlight, fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices.
