Echor Mandara Tree Villa Dharamshala

We were able to get into McLeod Ganj when we wanted because we’d booked a car, while Echor Mandara Tree Villa Dharamshala still felt tucked away from the crowds. That peaceful, quaint setting was a big part of what we enjoyed. The boutique property has beautiful views, and the whole place is easy to settle into. Everyone we met was welcoming. Prince at reception and Sandeep and Monish in the restaurant made things feel personal, and the meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed from December 8 to 10, and had a wonderful time. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet stay in Dharamshala. Thank you!

The food deserves five stars, it was delicious. We also had lovely city and mountain views from the room. The staff were courteous and the service was great. We had a great experience here.

We spent last month’s birthdays at Mandara Tree Villa in Dharamshala, a peaceful staycation we’d been wanting to take for a long time. The staff were friendly and attentive, and sorted out our requests and amenities promptly. Most of the food was delicious, though the dinner we ordered from the menu was just average. Our Swiss wooden chalet was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with lovely wooden craftsmanship and a jacuzzi. We could enjoy the Dhauladhar views right from bed, both in the daytime and at night. Set among forests and mountains, the villa gave us the quiet retreat and beautiful scenery we hoped for. It felt like a home away from home, and we’d love to return.

Watching the sunrise from the balcony was breathtaking, with the valley spread out below. The chalet property is quiet and surrounded by nature, so the whole place has a relaxing feel. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was excellent too. The staff were always courteous and helpful, especially Mr. Prince, who did extra to make our stay memorable. One of the best.
