The owner was very polite and helpful, and his approach to customer service deserves credit. That went a long way toward making up for the drawbacks. Breakfast was decent, but be aware that the third floor is still being built and there's no lift. Despite what some Google reviews say, there isn't a mountain view; you see nearby houses and homestays. The access road is narrow, as it is for many hotels in Dharmashala, so I'd hire a driver who knows how to handle roads like that.

The climb up to the hotel is the difficult part, though there's enough parking once you arrive. The rooms were clean and good, and the hospitality was nice. Staff were polite and quick to help from the first call. The food was also really good, and Bhagsu Nag Mandir and the waterfalls are quite close. A peaceful spot for a calm break and a good night's sleep.

We spent two nights here, three days in all, in Bhagsunath. Our taxi could reach the hotel, and they have their own parking. We had booked a balcony room with a mountain view; its size was okay, and the hotel was neat and clean. The staff were cooperative. Breakfast could use more choices.

The hotel is tucked a little way in from mcleodganj chowk, with an uphill walk to the main road. Bhagsu Nag Waterfall and Temple are about 1.5 km away. Kalachakra temple, Dalai Lama Temple, and the Buddhist temple complex are around 2-2.5 km away, and you can take the ropeway, Tata Skyway, to Dharamshala.
