DLS Meghavan Resort in MacLeodganj, Dharamshala was one of the best properties on our trip, a real highlight. The luxury rooms were very well maintained and comfortable, with a nice sense of style. Staff were warm and welcoming, the food suited our family's different preferences, and the resort had lovely spots for family photos. We booked an 11-day, 10-night family tour through MakeMyTrip, from March 24 - April 4, 2026, covering Shimla, Manali, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, and Amritsar. Our group spanned generations, including a child, middle-aged adults, and senior citizens, so comfort mattered a lot, and the trip exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was carefully arranged, with premium hotels, efficient transfers, and well-planned sightseeing. Vehicle and driver service stayed consistent from our pickup at Chandigarh Airport through our drop-off at Amritsar Airport. I'd highly recommend both the MakeMyTrip Himachal-Amritsar package for its professional execution and DLS Meghavan Resort for a luxury stay in Dharamshala.

The location made it easy to reach the local market while still offering a tranquil stay, and the nearby waterfall was within easy reach too. The food was a standout, with every meal exceptionally prepared and delicious. I stayed at DLS Meghavan Resort in Dharamshala in April 2026, and had a memorable time. The staff were welcoming and cooperative from arrival, and their professionalism and attention to detail helped everything go smoothly. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality place in Dharamshala. I look forward to coming back.

Getting to the hotel was extremely difficult. Because of access issues, it took nearly two hours to cover just 1 km on the way there. We booked a Deluxe Room, but its condition didn't justify that category. There weren't even room numbers to identify the rooms properly. There's no AC, the bathroom door makes a horrible noise, and the bathroom has no exhaust fan. The facilities and maintenance are far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend this property.

The food was amazing, and the staff were cooperative and provided excellent service during our nice stay at DLS Meghavan Resort. The rooms are spacious, though the interiors could use a little improvement. Thank you.

There was plenty of parking, which is unusual for that area. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout, and the resort kept to its dining hours, which was convenient. We were six people and booked two rooms for March 27th to 29th at Meghavan Resort. The rooms were comfortable, room service was prompt, and both the breakfast spread and dining experience were excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
