Hotel Akash

The hotel was being renovated during my stay in Sept 2025, but it should be a great place once all the rooms are ready. I had a great experience, and got upgraded to a room with a beautiful view. It was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean, with a good shower and hot water available 24/7. I’d recommend it to fellow travellers.

I stayed at Hotel Akash for 14 days, and the experience was very disappointing. At checkout they charged almost double what we’d agreed on when I arrived. When I tried to explain the difference, things got very uncomfortable: they took my phone from my hand and locked me inside while we argued about the bill. I felt unsafe, and the behavior was unprofessional. I chose the hotel because its listing promised good Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast, but the Wi-Fi never worked properly, and the problem was still there after two weeks. Between that, the changed price, and the aggressive treatment, I can’t recommend the place. Travelers should confirm the final price in writing before staying.

Mr sharma, the owner, was very cooperative and showed us how to get around. He also arranged a cab for us. We’ll visit again next time. Best hotel in town.

The staff made the visit special with warm, attentive care, and went out of their way to make things feel right. I felt welcome and comfortable throughout. The views were breathtaking, with peaceful surroundings and beautiful landscapes at every turn. It’s a place that stays in your memory after leaving, and I’d recommend it highly for both the natural beauty and the service.
