The restaurant food was excellent, and the bathroom, with a toilet and shower, was very clean. My room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed, plus a fridge and a balcony overlooking the valley. The staff were alert and friendly. A very nice hotel, highly recommended!
We didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t really comment on the rooms. We just wanted supper somewhere with a sunset view. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and looks out over the valley. The staff were super friendly, the food was great and very affordable. It’s a perfect spot if you want to get away from the noise of Dharamshala and the busyness of McLeod Ganj.
The receptionist’s management and behavior were very poor. They were arrogant, ignored my questions instead of listening, and hung up on me. The food was bad, and they gave us replacements under that pretext, then charged us twice. Their greed goes beyond what I’d consider basic ethical standards.
Mr Vijay was genuine and helped us get a room, then arranged a cab for our travels. We enjoyed staying in Pong. The restaurant service could use a bit of improvement. Thanks, Vijay.
The room has a beautiful view, and the staff are polite. The rooms are clean, and it’s perfect for families.
