The hotel smelled so bad that I couldn’t stay in either of the two rooms they showed me. It was in awful shape, with broken walls, and looked like a haunted house. I’d booked two nights on Expedia and paid Rs.4777/- online, arriving about two hours later. The place looked nothing like the website photos. When I asked to cancel, reception told me to contact the booking company. I called Expedia, and their agent spoke with the owner, who offered a room upgrade but no refund. An upgrade wouldn’t have helped because I couldn’t stand the smell. I regret booking before seeing it. It felt like a complete fraud.

We were charged for a soap dispenser that broke after one normal push because it hadn’t been fitted properly. Staff blamed us instead of accepting responsibility, even though the faulty installation wasn’t our doing. The housekeeping was awful, and the way this was handled showed no accountability or basic customer service. Guests shouldn’t have to pay for the hotel’s negligence. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for honest, decent service.

They cancel bookings to squeeze more money out of guests. Pathetic. I had to deal with virkam singh, who doesn’t know how to speak respectfully. I don’t know if he’s the owner or an employee, but Vikram, if you’re reading this, learn to talk to people properly. Dharamshala has plenty of hotels. I hope you’re out of business soon.

We only stayed because we couldn’t find another hotel yesterday. The room sheets were dirty, and so was the tray they brought the coffee on. For what they charge, the quality was really disappointing and poor. They need to clean the rooms and the things given to guests better so people can have a comfortable stay.
