V Resorts Royal Palace Mcleodganj

The management took good care of changing our room, and the location is good, with ample parking for a 4 wheeler. The place has a royal feel, but it needs a lot of maintenance. If it were looked after, it could be one of the best hotels. Right now, the palace-like look also feels ghostly, like Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The bed wasn't clean, the geyser lights didn't work, and the TV was out of order. The bathroom only had a bathtub for bathing, and I don't know why. There was just one bedside charging point, so charging my phone was difficult. The swimming pool wasn't functional. There was a food menu, but I can't comment on the food. I'd love to visit again once the maintenance is complete, but I'll leave the decision to you.

The place looks Royal from outside, but inside was a shock. Staff need more training on how to attend to guests, and the rooms need better decoration. The service and experience were the worst. People should avoid this hotel, it was a loss of money.

The rooms look good, but they aren't maintained, and the service and upkeep were poor. Don't book this hotel, it's nothing like the photos.

The staff were helpful and courteous, and promptly handled our other needs. Some areas were under off-season maintenance, so the restaurant wasn't available, but the team arranged food delivery from local restaurants. The location is awesome, and it's probably the most royal hotel in the area. Even with those constraints, we had an awesome experience.
