Hotel Girish

Check-in was easy, the staff were really sweet, and the location and cleanliness were both great. I’d stay here again. The rooms could use more decor or facilities, though, and it would be good if they started serving tandoori dishes soon.

The pool needs more care. The water doesn’t seem to be changed often, and dirt and moss have built up at the bottom. The landscaping could use more work too. Still, Girish Hotel is a good option for a short one- or two-day trip. Its rates are nearly half those at the more reputed hotels nearby, and the rooms are spacious, have satisfactory amenities, and cost significantly less than rooms elsewhere in Diamond Harbour. The food is excellent as well.

The food was delicious, with plenty of fresh, flavorful choices, and the pool was a lovely spot to unwind after a long day. My room was roomy, clean, comfortable, and had all the modern amenities I needed. The staff were attentive and warm, and made me feel welcome the whole time. I’d highly recommend the hotel for a comfortable, relaxing stay with great dining.

The rooms are nicely decorated and clean, and the food is very good in both taste and quality. A good spot for a weekend to relax and enjoy yourself.
