Abhyagama Hotel

I stayed a couple of nights in rooms 403 and 405. The place is clean, nicely decorated in the rooms and lobby, and housekeeping is very good. Staff are welcoming and cordial. Still, I might not recommend it because of the shower and the awkward location. The shower is advertised as a special body shower, but it's difficult to use and isn't a proper mixer, so it gives either hot or cold water. You can't mix it like a traditional tap, and for older people using it is like hell. The flush also needs you to hold the button down to get water. At least housekeeping provided a bucket and mug. In winter, when temperatures get down to around 9-11 degrees, the rooms get no sunlight and stay extremely cold and damp. The hotel is right at the end of New Digha, and after evening the approach road is deserted. Without your own vehicle, you'd need an e-rickshaw to get to the centre or busier areas. They should change the no outside food policy. Their restaurant, Deli-k-Sea, took a long time to prepare food, had limited choices and serving hours, and didn't seem very professional. The price didn't match the portions, at least by Digha/Bengal standards, especially when there are better, more affordable restaurants a few kilometers away. Overall, the hotel is good and the staff behave well, but it needs a lot of improvement.

The room felt both luxurious and cozy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a breathtaking view. The soundproofing was impeccable, and I haven't slept that well in months. Every corner, from the poolside lounge to the fitness center, was spotless, and the staff were proactive. Breakfast buffet is a must. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, the staff treated us less like guests and more like returning family. I've stayed at many hotels over the years, but The ABHYAGAMA stands out as a masterclass in hospitality. We're already planning to return next summer for another seamless, stress-free stay with top-tier service.

The rooms are fantastic, with central AC throughout, and there's a common balcony on every floor. Facilities include small and medium swimming pools, a basic gym and restaurants. Staff are good, though there's room to improve their service. It's a well-equipped hotel in New Digha, behind digha science museum, and overall fantastic. It sits on the edge of New Digha towards Udaipur, so it's better to come with a car.

We booked three days through Goibibo and got an extra 10% off dining under its policy. My wife and I recently tried this property in New Digha, and our stay felt completely different from all the other places we've stayed during our many trips to Digha. Our Superior Pool view Room was super clean, well decorated and had modern amenities. The property is well looked after by quality staff. The in-house restaurant, "Deli K Sea," is another reason to come back. The menu is so extensive I couldn't attach all the photos, though I did add a few glimpses of the food. There's also a well-maintained swimming pool, a Spa parlour and a gym. If you're after some leisure time with a luxurious feel, this is a perfect place. If they keep up this level of service, it'll definitely be our regular destination in the future.
