The sea view isn't really there, but the parks, greenery and wide roads are nice. It's an upmarket area, with the beach within walking distance. The hotel has modern facilities, including a rooftop swimming pool, gym, restaurant and car parking, plus two lifts. The staff were especially good to my octogenarian mother while I was travelling with her. The new Jagannath Temple is also a shirt distance away. Restaurant food was good, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choices.

The rooftop pool and its lovely view made for a relaxing break, and the food at Cygnett Inn Sea View, Digha was excellent. Everything was neat, clean and well maintained. It was peaceful, with no chaos around the hotel, and the management and staff were professional and gave great service. A very pleasant stay, highly recommended.

Our stay at Cygnett in Digha was a disaster. The balcony door was broken when we arrived, and it took a long time to get it fixed. The pool was the bigger problem: it's beside the bar, and management lets intoxicated guests swim. We saw someone vomit in the water, but staff refused to drain it, treat it, change the water, or close the pool for cleaning. They said they'd only spot clean it, and had an “it happens” attitude. This was unhygienic, unprofessional and a major health hazard. Security was non-existent, and the atmosphere felt uncomfortable and unsafe for families. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially to families. Avoid it if you care about hygiene and safety.

The breakfast buffet had a wide choice of fresh, delicious food, and my room was spotless, spacious and had a breathtaking view. From check-in onward, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I loved the little touches too. My stay at the Cygnett Inn Sea Viewl was fantastic, and I'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

The staff were helpful and good, but the facilities don't feel adequate for the price. Wi-Fi was very weak, with frequent network problems, and the room on the 4th floor wasn't in good condition. The rent is quite expensive too.
