The manager, Palash giri, behaved well. Overall, I had a good experience, and the rooms were comfortable and well maintained.

The reception guy was rude when we checked in and asked basic questions. He acted as if we were a bother, with no interest in welcoming us or helping. The room itself was dull, stuffy, badly maintained, and gloomy because of the poor lighting. The bathroom lock was broken, which was especially awkward while staying with friends. I stayed just one night, and that was enough for me to know I won’t return. I don’t expect luxury, but working facilities and decent service are basic, and this place failed on both. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was the one bright spot. It was freshly prepared, though it took a while, reasonably priced, and the kitchen staff kindly accommodated special diet requests for a pet and a diabetic family member at affordable charges. The rest of our two-day stay was terrible. The room was in poor condition, with filthy pillows hidden under clean white cases, floor mats dirtier than the street, and a wobbly dressing table. Workers had to come in both days to deal with ongoing problems: lights and TV not working, a toilet door that wouldn’t lock, and no hooks for clothes or towels. The washroom fixtures were rusted and unusable, and the open drain was filthy. We booked for four but got only one towel and had to argue for more. The pool water was green and foggy, looking like a rainwater pond, with no sign of maintenance or chlorination. The reception staff were unhelpful. The charges were far too high for the quality and comfort, and the payment practices felt untrustworthy. We booked through Booking.com, but the hotel cancelled it the next day as a “no show” while we were actually staying there. It seemed like they might have been trying to avoid paying the platform commission. They also made us pay an advance to reserve the stay, even though Booking.com clearly said no advance payment was required. They claim a 3-star rating, but the place doesn’t deserve even one star.

The staff are the hotel’s real asset: they’re very well behaved and ready to help promptly. The restaurant cooks excellent, tasty food, and there’s a clean, well-maintained swimming pool. Rooms are moderately spacious, the general environment is clean and calm, though the washroom needs maintenance. The location isn’t that great.
