We arrived at 8 AM even though check-in was at 11, and they gave us a room for an extra charge. It was cosy and beautiful, and everything was clean, including the washroom. The place was peaceful, and the staff were very polite and helpful. They charged 10 rupees for two glasses of hoy water. Since we booked through Goibibo, we also got two extra sealed water bottles. We had a very good stay.
The rooms are good for the low price. I booked two in advance, and they sent pictures of clean rooms over WhatsApp. At check-in they gave us different rooms from the ones shown. Apart from that, the experience was good.
It's a peaceful spot near the main road, so you can avoid the congestion while still being close by. The sea beach is a five-minute walk away. Great rooms, good service, and really nice staff.

Kahini Hotel was welcoming, with professional staff and pleasant manners. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the prices are budget friendly. The sea beach and jagganath mandir are both within walking distance. There's also an in-house restaurant where you can customize the menu. A place worth visiting with family.
