Sanoj/Joffer at reception was especially helpful, and everyone on staff was welcoming, which made the stay easy. I also appreciated the secured parking and the unusual collection of brass antiques. The rooms were spotless and had modern features, and the food was delicious. This hotel brings big-city standards to a small town. Highly recommended!

The rooftop room is especially cramped and very hot, with barely any washing space and the toilet right beside the washing area. If you're looking for a reception hall, I'd avoid this place. In short, it's a makeshift setup.

Best stay in vithura, and the bar is good too. At Spice Route Kerala Kitchen, the smell of toasted spices and coconut welcomed us, and traditional nilavilakku lamps gave the simple, elegant decor a warm feel. The appetizers were spicy and tangy, while the main dishes of fresh seafood or meat were cooked well and full of spice. Soft appams or rice went nicely with the rich coconut curries. Service was friendly and efficient, and the meal felt like genuine, homestyle Kerala food.

I checked out straight away after trying the replacement room, though the hotel did return my advance without a problem. Room 104 was still uncomfortably warm even with the air conditioning on, and there was no hot water in the shower. Reception said hot water would only be available the next day. I had originally booked room 304 for its bathtub, but it was faulty. I reported it immediately and got no response. When I followed up at reception, they said a plumber could come the next day, which felt like an unacceptable wait after I’d travelled a long distance. I asked to change rooms, but was told another option would cost extra. They offered room 104 instead. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend the hotel for comfort or reliable service, and I don’t think they’ll take action in the future either.
