OYO 23151 Hotel Abani

The meal we had there was a disaster: the rice was poor quality, the lentils had gone bad, the chicken was cold from the refrigerator with gravy simply mixed in, the mutton was so rubbery we couldn't tear a piece, and the vetki fish wasn't properly cooked. That was one of my worst food experiences. Later, they argued with our driver at night and spoiled the visit further. The staff were rude, and the extra cot promised when we booked never appeared. We had selected this guest house on Oyo, told the hotel in advance we'd be coming from Kolkata after work, and arrived around 10 PM. The gate was locked; after repeated calls, they opened it half an hour later. The rooms weren't up to standard either. Never visit or eat here.

The manager really values customers and is a great person. The other staff were just as good. The room and kitchen facilities were okay too, and I thought it was good value for money. I'd recommend staying here. ☺

It's a nice hotel for the money, but the staff's attitude was very poor, apart from the manager. Some rooms also have bathroom fittings like the hand shower that don't work properly.

My first OYO Hotels booking turned into a bitter, really bad experience. The hotel staff were unprofessional and kept urging us to book offline instead of through Oyo. OYO needs to step in firmly and improve the serviceability.
