The pictures they use are old, not current, and there’s a no-refund policy, so be careful. As soon as you enter, the place smells of alcohol. Some rooms are dirty and others only okayish, with the tables and bedsheets extremely dirty. It feels like a total scam. Please don't book this.

The online photos are super old and seem meant to trick people. It feels like they keep the better rooms for people who book offline, while those booking online get a terrible deal. Many families had a similar experience, including what happened around me after I complained. We booked in advance and they wouldn't confirm it until we paid upfront. When we arrived, our room smelled of urine and had broken mirrors, a broken bed, and poor sanitation. The no-refund policy was only shown on the bill, not in the documents or other information. It felt like a total scam for online bookings, so be aware.

Hotel Eshan is clean and in a good location. It's a 5-6 minute walk from New Digha sea beach, and the price is reasonable. The staff's behaviour is especially polite.

The air stinks, and the rooms are dirtier than gutters, with dust and grime everywhere. The beds were broken, and the sheets were torn and dirty. Worst hotel ever.
