We checked in on the morning of the 24th and were given rooms 307 and 308. Everything seemed fine until we went out in the evening with the rooms locked. When we came back, curry was smeared on the bathroom door and walls in room 307. None of us had ordered that kind of curry. The staff couldn't explain it when we showed them, so we asked to move and they changed our room. That night, one of our friends started behaving wildly and insisted on going outside because someone was calling her. Two or three of us couldn't hold her back. We got through a terrible night, then she gradually calmed down after sunrise and fell asleep. In the morning, she remembered nothing at first. When we asked if she'd seen anything in room 307, she said that while the rest of us were in 308, she'd been in the washroom in 307 and felt someone walking on the balcony. She went to look and saw a boy. She asked who he was and what he was doing there. He said, "This is my hotel." After she turned around, she couldn't remember anything else. Please don't go to this hotel by mistake.

By the time we got home, we'd heard somewhere that my wife had been possessed by an entity called Jinn. She is still sick, and I don't know what will happen next. Please avoid this hotel, especially with family, and newly married couples in particular. On the morning of the 24th, my wife, her brother, her sister, and I checked in and were given rooms 307 and 308. The day was fine. In the evening we locked up and went shopping. When we returned, curry was smeared over the bathroom door and walls in room 307, though we hadn't ordered that dish. Staff said they had no idea, so we left the room. Around midnight, my wife's behaviour suddenly changed. She shouted, seemed to go mad, and refused to stay inside because someone was calling her from outside. Two of us couldn't hold her back. When we asked what was happening, she said, "I wanna take her with me." We were shocked and played Hanuman Chalisha. She began to calm down, and as soon as the sun rose she fell asleep. Only the four of us know what we went through that night. When she woke in the morning, she didn't remember what had happened. She said that while in the washroom of 307, she'd heard someone walking on its balcony. She went out and saw a guy, then asked how he got in and what he was doing on our balcony. He said, "This is my hotel, so I can go wherever I want." After she turned around, she remembered nothing.

The staff were helpful and treated us very well. Our room was spacious and clean, and the food tasted good without costing too much. We had a really nice stay.

The atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming, and our stay was stressful. Staff spoke rudely and arrogantly from the start, while management kept bringing up rules in a way that felt intimidating. When we raised legitimate concerns, they dismissed them and spoke to us in a hostile, inappropriate tone. There was no clear communication, courtesy, or respect. A hotel claiming to be professional should treat guests far better. I’d tell travelers who care about respectful treatment, transparency, and a peaceful stay to avoid this place. It wasn’t worth the money or hassle.

The pool is huge and really lovely. Swimming is allowed from 9 am until 8-9 pm, depending on what you request, and you need to bring nylon clothing or pay to hire an outfit. The rooms have a fridge, AC, dining table, balcony, bedside table, and geyser; the toilet and bathroom are separated by a glass door. Staff were pleasant and the service was very good, with 3 litres of water provided each day. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the beach. Buses stop at NEW DIGHA, around a 5-minute walk from the drop-off point.
