Zone by The Park Digha

I came for one night and checked in on May 30th. The pool was a highlight, and the food was excellent. Staff were polite and the hospitality was top-notch. If you want to get away from Digha's usual crowds and chaos, this seems like a great place to stay. Highly recommended.

The pool is very good, and the area around the hotel is beautiful, though it's a little far from main New Digha. The security guards at the gate were very good, but the receptionists were rude and the hospitality wasn't what you'd expect at a hotel. Many items listed among the room amenities weren't there. When I asked, I was told they were provided on request. The towels had curry stains and torn edges, and the pillowcases were torn and had black stains. They were also leaky. If you don't know Hindi, conversation may be a little difficult. I had trouble with that. Think carefully before staying here.

The valet took my car and then couldn't bring it back because he had gone out for other work. I had to walk to the very end of the property. That's a serious security concern and a breach of trust with my personal property. The restaurant chairs were also poorly maintained, with dirty, stained fabric that was unpleasant to sit on. We traveled from Kolkata to meet as a family after four years apart, and chose Zone by the Park, Digha because of The Park Hotels' reputation. We booked two rooms in the name of Dr. Kalyan Kumar Paul from 29.3.26-30.3.26. Instead of a professional stay, we faced neglect that felt insulting for paying guests. After a long drive, we waited 2.5 hours for towels. When they arrived, they were torn and frayed, in ragged condition. The bedsheets were stained and shabby too. Reception staff were repeatedly rude and dismissive, with no urgency or hospitality. The property's upkeep and lack of basic staff training ruined the first day of what was meant to be a family milestone and getaway. My trust in the Park brand is shattered. I expect a formal explanation for these failures and a significant service recovery gesture or partial refund for the distress and time lost. I expect a prompt response before I take this to social media and formal travel review platforms.
