I won't recommend this hotel or come back. I work in a hotel and have visited many, so I was shocked by how dirty everything was, from the room and bathroom to the bin and menu. The shower didn't work, and the elevator was out of use. The receptionist was rude and unwelcoming when my friend and I checked in around 11 am, and the other staff weren't welcoming either. Their grooming was untidy, and the owner should look into both the staff and the property's upkeep. The room amenities don't match the rent, which is far too high for what's provided.

The location is perfect, and the front desk greets you with a smile when you walk in. I was hoping for a local touch in the interior, but most of it wasn't what I expected, and the room didn't have a good view. The ambience still needs work, there was dust on the table, and the food tasted bland. Maybe I caught the hotel on a bad day. I hope it's not like that every day.

It's not the best hotel, but it's not the worst either. Keep the sheets and toilets clean and that would be enough. If you drink, there are plenty of shops just downstairs. And if you don't want to pay for the hotel's food service, there are plenty of places downstairs across the road where you can fill your belly for just 80rs.

There are several room choices at Hotel Theja fort, including AC and non-AC, deluxe, double bed, and single bed options. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained around burmacamp and station road. Service is more than satisfactory: the staff are friendly, treat guests and other people well, listen to requests, and work to meet guests' needs. If you have enough money, I'd really suggest visiting this place once. Thanks.
