Arihant Guesthouse

My single room, Room No - 302, was a great stay. The owners live in the building and looked after guests personally, while the staff were ready to help at any time. It's well managed, neat, and clean, with 32 furnished rooms, color TVs, Wi-Fi, and some AC rooms. Big groups can request to use the four halls as dorms. The rooftop has a lovely temple view, and nearly every town attraction is close by. The in-house travel desk arranged my trip. They recently started travel assistance to help tourists manage tours more easily, which I think is a great idea. It's a peaceful, practical place in a busy town, especially for anyone watching their budget. It's not as fancy as some nearby guest houses, but it has what a traveler needs for a quiet stay in Bodhgaya.

The rooms are very basic, and there's no room service. If you ask the bell boy, he'll bring you things for a tip. Hot water is available only in the morning, once a day. Rooms at the back are very dark and need the lights on even during daytime.

A clean, tidy and inexpensive place to stay. From here, you can visit all the Bodhgaya Buddhist temples.
