Arunaachalaa Inn

We stayed with family and came away with a very bitter experience. We paid 100% but towels and bedsheets arrived only at night, and the A.C was in very bad condition. Before paying for an A.C room, check that it works. The manager, Mr.Manoharan, was very rude and irritating, often saying unwanted things, and never let us speak properly. He kept saying the hotel name, inn win win.

For two adults and one child, we got two toothbrushes, one paste, one comp and two sample bath soaps. The TV cable wasn't charged, and nobody switched on the A.C main switch until we asked. Even then, the A.C didn't work properly. Setting it to 16 degrees made the room a little cool. There were no bedsheets or bath towels. When I asked while vacating, the receptionist said it was our duty to ask for them, and he wasn't ashamed to ask for tips. I paid rs.2300/- for an ac room and have never stayed in a room like this. I won't recommend the property until things change.

The room was a basic AC room, but the price was high for what we got. The toilet wasn't clean and had hygiene issues, the flush didn't work, and there was no hot water. We had to ask for blankets before they brought anything, and what they gave us was a bedcover, not a blanket. The shower and AC remote were broken, the TV didn't work, and the single bed was broken too. I was traveling with my family.

Be careful before booking near Palani. We booked a room, but on arrival they said it wasn't available and gave some reason, then offered a different room. If you accept it, you don't get the room you originally booked. The response and service were awful, with no room service and no hot water.
