Tanzanite Inn

Satish helped us with information and meal arrangements, and the food was a real highlight. There were 6-7 delicious options at the unlimited breakfast included with our stay. We also chose dinner on both nights, and Satish arranged fresh fish live caught in Kodaikanal :) I was very satisfied with both the taste and the service. Food matters when planning a trip, and this hotel gets my vote for it. We were six people from two families, staying for two nights after visiting Kodaikanal two weeks ago. The balcony had a beautiful valley view, and the rooms were tidy. Having a kettle in the room was useful for making hot water and coffee to keep warm. The customer service was fabulous, and I'd recommend the hotel to families looking for great food, spectacular views, and hospitality.

Don't choose this hotel if you're traveling with kids. Getting simple hot water or hot milk for my child was a terrible experience. Room service was very slow, and the staff were rude. The rooms felt small and suffocating, the tiny washrooms were poorly maintained, and toiletries weren't refilled or replaced the next day. They also didn't change our bedsheets on the second day, and there wasn't 24*7 hot water. This was the worst experience I've had, and a total waste of money and holidays.

The valley view was excellent, and the premium rooms were affordable. Breakfast was a favorite, especially the iddly and chutney. The staff were really great, and the service and hospitality were wonderful. My thanks to everyone who made our stay pleasant.

It's a few kilometres from town, which adds to the appeal if you want a peaceful stay. The rooms were clean, the view was beautiful, and there was a children's play area. Helpful staff and excellent food made for a great experience. Cleanliness and food stood out most.
