B's Hive

No one was there in the morning to hear or address our concerns, although a caretaker was available during the day. The photos online seemed to show selective, enhanced angles that hid the property's real constraints and gave a misleading impression. The hotel is at a dead end, and parking on the narrow street, hardly 6 feet wide, made it very hard to move the car once other residents parked there too. It's the locality's main access road, and there was construction nearby with nails and debris scattered about, so parking was entirely at our own risk. Reaching the hotel was stressful and felt unsafe, with multiple sharp turns and very steep slopes, especially if driving yourself. The actual experience was completely different from the pictures and reviews on Google. It was horrible, and the online information about parking and access was misleading. I wouldn't recommend it, particularly if you're coming by car.

The balcony view was lovely, even though the location was the one downside. B's Hive had a great atmosphere, and the people there were caring and helpful. They even gave us essentials like a kettle, tea bags, and Tupperware at no charge. Staying there was one of my best choices for a budget trip to Kodaikanal.

The view from the property was really pleasant, and the staff were helpful and easy to deal with. Rooms are in good shape and well looked after. Definitely recommend it if you're visiting Kodaikanal.

The view was so relaxing, and the people working there were helpful. B’s Hive, Kodaikanal is clean and kept in good condition, and the location is convenient. We had a great stay and I'd recommend it to others.
