Eden Garden by Fabhotel

We had to bring in hot water with the staff's help, and the room wasn't clean. The bed linen was dirty, and soap left behind by the previous guest was still in the bathroom. Though we had prepaid for four nights, we left after just one. I now have doubts about Fab Hotels' credentials.

I booked this property through Agoda.com on pay at hotel and received a confirmation voucher. But when I arrived, reception said there was no booking, the hotel no longer worked with Fabhotels, and the property was sold out. Fabhotels' website still listed the property and showed rooms for sale. Fabhotels customer care first said my booking was there and might have been cancelled because it was pay at hotel. After I explained what reception had said about the hotel no longer being associated, the agent blamed Agoda and said Fabhotels had delisted the property. When I pointed out it was still on Fabhotels' website with rooms available, he said delisting takes 30 days. He hung up when I pressed him further, as if he knew he'd made a mistake. I'm glad I hadn't paid anything to this dishonest hotel chain.

I paid after booking five rooms through Fab hotel customer care. When we got to the location, the hotel authorities refused to accommodate us, saying they had no agreement with Faab hotel, despite having received my payment and an intimation from faab hotel. I strongly believe they sold the rooms to someone else for a higher price. I saw another family in the same situation. Never book at these hotels, they will cheat you when they get the chance.

Take this review seriously. I waited more than 45 minutes to check in because nobody was at reception. After I scolded them, someone showed up about 30 minutes later and hurriedly handed me a key. There was never anyone at reception, and they couldn't be reached by phone. The sheets on my bed had already been used. There was no geyzer, towel, shampoo, or electric kettle. I was told the rooms were full and those things would be provided tomorrow, but that never happened. With two wine shops nearby, people were wandering around drunk in the corridors and common areas. Even in such a cold place, there was no hot water, and they didn't stick to the stated timings. Don't come here with FAMILY. Find somewhere you feel safe, even if it's on a different platform or costs more, or your trip could turn into a nightmare. I'm not sure what fabhotels will do about this, but lately they seem more interested in expanding than keeping up quality. Use another platform, and don't trust fab hotels. These people aren't so fav.
