The manager was helpful and moved us from the basement to a better room on the second floor, and I appreciate the effort. The room was clean and spacious, with hot water, and towels, toiletries, and drinking water were available on request. Still, some noise from a nearby bar was a drawback, and the stay felt average for what we paid. I had booked a deluxe room advertised with AC, but it had neither AC nor even a fan. We arrived soaked from the rain, so that was disappointing. There was another room next door with a balcony and larger windows, but they said they couldn’t allot it because no one was available to clean it, even when we offered to pay extra. It could have been a much better stay if they’d given us that room. I’d suggest this property for solo travelers or groups of friends, but not families. The surrounding area didn’t seem very clean or family-friendly, with open drains near nearby meat shops.

The room stank, had no fan, and had no lock on the door. The bedding and upholstery were dirty, and I couldn’t sleep. There was no parking and no proper response, just a promise to change rooms the next day. Why assign such a bad room? In the morning, they sent us elsewhere to eat the complimentary breakfast. This felt like a badly managed OYO/Fab place, not a hotel. The reception area was cluttered and unclean.

We arrived during peak season after a long trip, with my mother already sick and exhausted, and were left without accommodation. We had booked two nights through FabHotels and paid Rs 1250 in advance. The receptionist denied the booking and told us to contact FabHotels, saying they no longer worked together. Customers can’t be expected to know about internal business decisions or ended partnerships, and visitors should still be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. Instead, the receptionist was extremely rude. When we asked what had happened, he arrogantly told us to leave and shouted at us to vacate the premises. Fab hotel customer service left our call on hold without solving anything. This lack of basic etiquette and poor customer service is unacceptable. If the issue isn’t resolved, I’ll take legal action.

Parking nearby can be difficult if you come by car. As for the food, it’s really tasty, hygienic, good value, and feels like home cooking. The people are welcoming and courteous. There is a language barrier, but they do their best to communicate and are very sweet. Don’t judge by the setting, just try the food, especially the Biryani, and you can thank me later.

We had to spend about three hours searching for another room during a busy holiday, after a long journey with my small kids and mother. We had booked through MMT and paid the full amount for two nights, but when we arrived the hotel refused to accommodate us, saying they had no online reservation. We learned other tourists had faced the same thing and felt they had been scammed too. Be careful before booking here. Very bad customer service.
