The view is beautiful, though the road up to the hotel is very steep. The property is superb, the service person was kind and polite, and the food was really tasty. There aren't any nearby shops, so if you book here, I suggest ordering food at the property and buying things you need in advance.

The hosts made us feel welcome and the place had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Our clean room was well equipped, and the location worked perfectly for exploring the area. A wonderful, relaxing stay that I'd recommend.

We recently stayed at guruvela homestay as a group of 16. The ambience and room were really good, and the caretaker looked after us very well. Great hospitality.

We had home-cooked food here, which was tasty and available for an extra charge with advance booking. Caretaker Mani was very responsive, and Sivagami Mam was helpful and guided us well. The resort has amazing scenery and is a good, affordable family stay with kids. A must-try for families.
