The food was tasty, and the staff provided excellent service. We spent two nights here and found the room clean, spacious, and comfortable. It’s in a beautiful, quiet location, and was a great place to enjoy with family.

We booked through Agoda, but when we arrived, the caretaker said the hotel was now called Smiley Valley and they had no booking details under Aishwarya Green Valley. Google still showed the old name, so check before you go. Agoda couldn’t help us then, but the caretaker arranged a room for one day. The room and service were really good, and the quiet setting away from town was lovely for spending time with nature. The hotel has a great view and is in a calm place, though it’s far from the city.

The best part is the location and the view from the rooms. They’re comfortable too, and it would be best to arrange food outside, since the food here is below average. Good for families, but too costly for couples.

The service, cleanliness, hot water, and interaction were all very good, and we had a great time. The bonfire and DJ were awesome. The food could use a bit of improvement.

My friends and I really enjoyed Kodaikanal. The rooms, service, and location were all very, very superb.
