Mr. Perumal, the manager, gave good support, and room service was okay. I stayed two days: one day was good, the other wasn't. Dinner can be arranged on request, and there are restaurants nearby. The rooms are okay for budget-conscious guests, the hotel is easy to reach from the main road, and there's enough parking out front. A TV is provided, and you can ask for a kettle. Hot water is meant to be available from 7 to 10 AM, but it wasn't coming in my room. Given the climate, it should be available all the time.

The rooms were clean and looked after, and the staff were really friendly. It's reasonably priced and easy to reach from the main connections.

We went as a group and booked two rooms. For a budget stay, they were good value and neat and clean. The service wasn't great, though I had a few things that needed sorting and those were taken care of. Manager Perumal was friendly. The hard part was having no hot water at night. It was available only in the morning from 5 to 8 a.m., which isn't good service for a hill station, especially in DECEMBER. If you want a clean, budget-friendly place, Hotel Gurupriya could work.

The staff's warmth and clean rooms made our stay comfortable. Manager Mr. Perumal was friendly, supportive, and ready to help, while reception made check-in easy with a professional, welcoming approach. Hot water was available 24/7. Hotel Gurupriya is an older property and could use renovations and updates, but I had a very pleasant experience. With some work on the building, it could be even better.
