The hotel was quiet and peaceful, and the rate was reasonable. There’s ample car parking, good service, plus a bakery and vegetarian restaurant right next door. Palani temple is about 1.5 km away, around ₹100 by autorickshaw.

I had the wrong date on my booking, and Hotel Royal Park still welcomed me and let me freshen up before my temple visit. They handled the mix-up with real kindness and flexibility, which took all the stress out of it. That’s thoughtful, respectful service. I’d recommend them to anyone visiting the temple. Thank you, Hotel Royal Park, for helping me out 🙏
We ended up leaving early, unfortunately. The bathroom exhaust was open around the AC pipe, so mosquitoes got in, and the damaged taps barely gave a proper flow of water. The bathroom wasn’t clean or slip-resistant either. A very poor stay.
We booked over 20 rooms as a group. The rooms themselves were good, but upkeep was poor: there were spider webs all over the bathrooms, no blankets, and AC units in most rooms started dripping water after about an hour. The front office response was very poor. I wouldn’t give it even one star.
The staff were good, and the rooms were tidy and well kept with plenty of ventilation. There’s hot water in the toilets too. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian hotels are attached but separate. I stayed for two days and was satisfied with the experience.
